Jury & Selection

  1. Preliminary category panels. 63 judges organised into branches, each representing a discipline of film production, with 3 members per category. Each panel selects a top 10 in its category.
  2. Industry crosscheck. Film organisations and associations are invited annually to review the top 10 and identify deserving candidates who may have been missed.
  3. Final jury. A three-member final jury receives the top 10 nominations, produces a top 5 shortlist, and determines the winners.

CCN does not publicly disclose the preliminary judges, in order to protect the independence of the process.
